Documenting My Journey to Becoming a Doctor

I've always believed that big dreams deserve big effort. For me, that dream is becoming a doctor. Not just a doctor on paper, but someone who shows up fully for their community, someone who's present, real, and relentless about making a difference.
This blog is where I document everything — the late nights, the breakthroughs, the doubts, and the small wins. It's not here to be polished or perfect. It's here to be honest.
Right now, I'm a 19-year-old undergrad double majoring in Neuroscience and Bioengineering. I'm on the pre-med path, and my goal is to become an MD/PhD with a focus in surgery. I'm balancing research, leadership, classes, and life — and learning every day what it really takes to pursue a dream this big.
This space isn't just for me. It's for anyone who's walking this path too. Whether you're just starting out, deep in the grind, or trying to figure out if medicine is right for you, I hope something here helps you feel seen, motivated, or even just understood.
I’ll be using this blog to:
Share milestones and lessons from my journey
Reflect on experiences that shape me
Provide tips and resources for other pre-meds
Stay accountable to my vision
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present. And proving to myself, day by day, that I can keep going.
